SlateStudio was created with intention, heart, and a deep love for motherhood and storytelling.


What started as a dream has slowly come to life—designed, built, and carefully curated to be a space that feels calm, minimal, and inspiring. A place where light pours in softly, textures feel warm and natural, and every detail has purpose.


Located in East Troy, Wisconsin, SlateStudio is a natural light studio designed specifically for maternity, newborn, and family photography but all types can exist here. The space is simple and refined—filled with creamy whites, soft neutrals, organic textures, and thoughtfully selected pieces that allow your story to be the focus.


This studio exists for the moments that matter most.

A space created with purpose

SlateStudio was built not only for my clients, but for creatives as well.


With a clean, versatile layout and ever-evolving styling options, the space was designed to give photographers the freedom to create while maintaining a cohesive, timeless look. Every corner has been thoughtfully designed to photograph beautifully in any light, at any time of day.


It’s more than just a studio—it’s an experience.

This studio would not exist without the people who helped bring it to life.


Built within my dad’s dream business and brought together with the help of my husband, SlateStudio is a reflection of family, support, and the beauty of building something meaningful from the ground up.


It is a space rooted in love—and that is felt in every session held here.

SlateStudio is also available for a limited number of rentals for photographers and creatives who are drawn to a soft, minimal, light-filled space.


This was created to be more than just a location—it’s a place where you can step in and create freely, without the overwhelm of sourcing props or styling a space from scratch.


With access to the studio’s thoughtfully curated design, neutral tones, and natural light, you’re able to offer your clients a refined, cohesive experience of your own.


To maintain the integrity and intention behind the space, rental availability is limited and offered on an exclusive basis.
