Meet Cortney of Blankslate Photography!

Hello, I am Cortney!

I'm a Southeast Wisconsin based photographer.

I would consider my life the most beautiful form of chaos. I am a passionate homeschool mom to two amazing boys and slowly building the homesteading life my family has always dreamed of.

When I became a mom in 2017 it became all too clear how quickly the time goes and how a picture of a moment in time could really hold so many emotions and memories. In the blink of an eye those tiny feet take their first wobbly steps and those sweet milk-smelling snuggles become heavier. This crazy, confronting, and sometimes exhausting thing called parenthood is so incredibly special and the years go by in an instant.

My passion is to give that time capsule we cherish so deeply, the little and big moments to look back on for the rest of your life and remember just how tiny those toes really were and how sweet that toothless grin was.

From the moment I picked up my first camera I knew this is what I was meant to do. Photography exhilarates me, excites me, and makes me feel alive. I am incredibly blessed to pursue my passion in this life and create visions from behind my lens. As your photographer I strive to devise and capture your special moments as though they were my own.
